Dr. Emily Stopper
DDS
Dr. Emily Stopper has been practicing dentistry for over 12 years. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry in 2007. She is dedicated to maintaining a high level of knowledge and skill in the ever changing field of dentistry. Dr. Stopper is especially passionate about helping patients who suffer from obstructive sleep apnea, a potentially deadly disorder.
Dr. Alvin Jenkins
DDS
Dr. Alvin Jenkins is an Ashe county native. If you ask him he will tell you he is a country dentist and he enjoys being just that. Since graduating from the University of North Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Dentistry and a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1976, he has continuously practiced right here in his hometown of West Jefferson.
Dr. Peyton Absher
DMD
Dr. Peyton Absher is a native of Ashe County. She attended North Carolina State University and graduated as Valedictorian with an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences in 2016. She then attended East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine where she graduated with honors.
